Geranium
A popular, pretty, and colorful flower. Produces red, white, and/or pink flowers. Likes a full sun spot in the landscape but will also grow in those somewhat shady areas. Use them year-round for some color in your landscape. Cold hardy until temps reach below 28 degrees. They can take light frost. You may want to cover them during our brief cold snaps. Said to be somewhat drought tolerant but do prefer a regular water schedule like most plants! Said to be deer-resistant. They are said to be toxic to pets and livestock so plant in an area not accessible to your little munchers. Geranium like most annuals gets too much fertilizer they will be large and green and bloom less. Feed every 3 to 5 weeks and they should be fine. Remember to follow the manufacturer's instructions for application. #StayHealthyGetDirty! #GARDENINGTheNewAmericanPastime!
