A quick-growing tropical perennial shrub. Considered to be evergreen, It produces a beautiful green leaf on the top and purple on the underside. It blooms a purple flower that sits atop a purple stem. Easy to grow with not so much care. At maturity, it can reach 18 to 24 inches tall. Likes a shade to part sun location in the landscape. Apply a good granular slow-release (2-3-3) after blooming finishes. Whichever way you go, be sure to follow the manufacturer's instructions for application.
